ARC speaks to BaldwinRotary aclub
Tiffany Page, Regional Director of the American Red Cross, spoke with the Baldwin Rotary Club September 26th. She addressed recent needs by the community for disaster services in the wake of the tornadoes that touched down in Lake County. ARC provided temporary housing, cleanup kits and mental health services, as well as other help. She also mentioned there were still open cases yet to be addressed. She applauded the response of First Responders during the aftermath and the nutritional support staff of the Baldwin Community Schools.
The mission of the Red Cross is to handle disaster relief and provide Veterans’ services. Ultimately this is achieved by volunteer services. The Red Cross needs trained volunteers to continue their mission. Thank you, Tiffany, for your presentation.
