Bill Bowman weaves a history lesson into his music presentation
On Wednesday, the Rotary Club of Baldwin was treated to special music by Bill Bowman. Mr. Bowman weaves a history lesson into a musical extravaganza. From his opening of Yankee Doodle to the finish of God Bless America, he introduces the author and background of each tune. Playing his own accompaniment, Mr. Bowman never falters from the subject at hand, that patriotic music is woven into our very fabric as a nation.
When finished, Bill was given a deserved standing ovation. Bill says he has many more presentations and we hope to take advantage of these.
