Rotary is sponsoring a buck pole contest for the fall hunting season.
The Baldwin Rotary Club, in cooperation with the Sportsmans Club, is sponsoring a big Buck Pole contest this fall. Registration has started and will continue through November. It costs $20 to register, you may do so at The Meat Shack (8 miles south of Baldwin), Ed’s Sport Shop, or Ace Hardware (both in Baldwin).
First Prize is a Barnett crossbow, similar to either the Barnett Whitetail Hunter II or the Barnett Whitetail Hunter STR. These crossbows list for $400; typical out-the-door prices run around $380 after tax. The First Prize Winner may choose to get $250 instead of the crossbow.
Second Prize will be $100 and Third Prize $50.
